CONSTIC
Project Description
CONSTIC project aims to enhance Vocational Educational Training (VET) systems in the construction and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sectors, while actively promoting women’s access to these fields.
The project focuses on 3 key thematic areas: (1) integrating current technological processes from the construction sector into education; (2) developing digital skills relevant to education, particularly in the use of animations, video games, and Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies; and (3) fostering greater participation of women in both the construction and ICT industries.
Objectives
The project is structured around the following 3 objectives:
1. Enhancing the quality of training in courses covering skills related to construction and natural stone.
2. Improving the quality of specialization courses and training cycles involving the creation of animations, video games, and virtual and augmented reality.
3. Promoting the inclusion of women in the construction and ICT sectors.
Products
CONSTIC plans to implement a range of activities and produce key outputs aimed at enhancing training quality, fostering innovation, and promoting inclusion in the construction and ICT sectors. These include:
• Development of a web portal;
• Production of teaching materials;
• Testing and validation of materials to ensure alignment with current sector needs;
• And promotion of female participation in training within ICT, construction, and stone extraction and processing.
